Dangote Cement Zambia Ltd has reported a 40.9% rise in sales to 768,000t of cement in the first nine months of 2018 supported by an increase in demand for housing and infrastructure.
“We remain positive about the future as a business because of the increased cement demand from construction sector. We have claimed over 40% of the market simply because it is a preferred brand,” said Albert Corcos, Dangote’s CEO for east and southern Africa.
