Crafco improves productivity for crews repairing wide cracks and distresses with the introduction of its new, larger capacity Mastic Patcher. Crafco’s latest innovation, the Patcher 4, offers a material tank double that of the Patcher 2 model.  Crafco’s Patchers have been the leader in the industry for more than 20 years.

Most recently, the Patcher 2 was selected by contractors as Road’s & Bridges Contractors Choice GOLD award winner for top road patching equipment. The first Patcher was introduced to the market simultaneously with Mastic One, Matrix, and TechCrete to repair wide cracks and distresses in bituminous and PCC pavements.

“The Patcher 4 has been a collaborative project between our Engineering and Sales groups.” according to Greg Frantz, Crafco’s Equipment Engineering Manager. “In addition to being double in size, the new larger capacity Patcher 4, more importantly, double the daily output of the Mastic products.” The Patcher 4 also has a total heat-up time equivalent to units of half the capacity.

The Patcher 4 is now available for pre-order and has a delivery date in early 2023. “In the extensive field testing, the Patcher 4 outperformed all our expectations.  We know demand will be high, with supply chain issues continuing, we plan to get a head start. We expect the Patcher 4 to be the contractor’s choice in 2023 and beyond.” states Tom Kelly, Vice President of National Sales Marketing.  “We are taking orders now for spring deliveries.”
