The
Ashaka Cement Company, a subsidiary of Lafarge Africa, has rewarded its loyal
customers and distributors with heavy-duty trucks and all-expense paid trips to
Saudi Arabi to perform Umrah, for their excellent performance in 2018.
Speaking
at the award presentation ceremony held in Gombe, the MD of Ashaka Cement,
Rabiu Abdulahi Umar, said the customer loyalty award was part of the company’s
initiatives to celebrate its customers for their hard work, commitment and
support in 2018 and over the years.
He said
as the foremost foreign direct investment company in the North East the company
was not only rewarding customers but also investing in the community
“We are
grateful for the loyalty of our customers through the years which has allowed
us to improve performance all these years. Lafarge Africa is keen on investing
in Ashaka. The power plant, infrastructure, and cement capacity are all
testament to this commitment. We are celebrating a good year and look forward
to even better collaboration in 2019,” he said.
Also
speaking at the event, the Country CEO of Lafarge Africa, Michel Puchercos,
thanked all the distributors for their remarkable performance in keeping the
Lafarge range of products as one of the top brands in the market.

Africa says a big thank you and we look forward to a more fruitful year in
2019. This year, we are set to change the way we do business with our customers
